Glen Burtnik’s “Summer of Love” concert celebrates the 50th anniversary of, well, the Summer of Love — i.e., 1967. It will focus on the music of that era from groups such as The Beatles, The Doors, Jefferson Airplane, The Rolling Stones, The Jimi Hendrix Experience and more. 7 p.m. Tickets are $37, $47 and $67.
Aug. 14 and 15
Relive the days of Led Zeppelin with the tribute band Get the Led Out, an Ocean City that visits the Music Pier annually. 7 p.m. $39.
Aug. 21 and 22
One of the most iconic bands of summer —
— will play four shows at the Music Pier: 6 and 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 21 and 22. “Wouldn’t it be nice” to see them live? Tickets are $75.
John Cafferty & the Beaver Brown Band, aka “East Coast Rock ‘n’Roll” group, achieved success in the 1980s with the “Eddie & The Cruisers — Motion Picture Soundtrack” with their hit “On the Dark Side.” They’ll play the Music Pier at 8 p.m. Tickets are $30 for auditorium seating; $25 for solarium.
