Caster , Patricia O., - 74, of Galloway, NJ, was peacefully called to eternal rest on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Pomona, NJ, surrounded by her lovingly family. Patricia attended Northumberland County Virginia Public Schools, graduating from Central High School. She continued her love for education by enrolling in Hampton Institute (University), and graduating in 1966 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Education; Master of Arts in Business Education from Rider University; Administration Certification from Glassboro State College (Rowan University); and other State Teacher Certification requirements. During her thirty-nine years of dedicated educational service, Patricia held the positions of Teacher of Business Education and Assistant Principal at Pleasantville High School. She retired from public service in 2005. Patricia was an active member in the Atlantic City Alumnae Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. (Charter Member); National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa Inc. Iota Chapter; Villagers Civic Club; Golden Circle of Southern Jersey Inc.; Atlantic City Club of the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women's Club Inc.; and the 6:30 Express Bowling Committee. Patricia was an avid traveler to Europe, Asia, Latin America, and the Carribean. She enjoyed family activities. Children were a joy to her. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, James and Maria S. Caster; brothers, Robert J. Sr. and Herman P. Caster; and sister, Lois C. Winstead. Patricia leaves to lovingly cherish her memories: sisters, Ruth Ball of Kilmarnock, VA, Marian Joan C. Geason and Dorothy M. Caster both of Upper Marlboro, MD; brothers, Willis H. Caster Sr. (Rosetta) and Edmond B. Caster both of Kilmarnock, VA, John Henry of Caster of Windsor Mills, MD, and Benjamin R. Caster (Otelia) of Northfield, NJ; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends, Vernon Littlejohn, and Norman and Valgene King. Funeral service will be 11AM, Friday, June 15, 2018, Union Baptist Temple, Pennsylvania and Drexel Avenues, Atlantic City, where friends may call from 9AM.
