Mallin, George Thomas, - 69, of Ocean City,, passed away at his home in Ocean City, NJ on Monday September 17th, 2018. Born in Reading, Pennsylvania on September 14, 1949, George T Mallin grew up in Lancaster, lived in Newport Beach, CA and recently resided in Ocean City, NJ. He worked in transportation for Chemical Leaman and also Boat Transit Inc. George loved his family, his dog, the beach, sailing and soccer. As an avid car enthusiast, he enjoyed rebuilding and restoring classic automobiles. He was a dedicated soccer coach for Vincent United and mentored many young players in his time with the organization. He loved his community and his neighbors, and could often be seen cruising the streets of Ocean City with his dog, Ben. He will be sadly missed by his daughters Taylor A Mallin Ocean City, NJ and Jocelynne S Mallin Bozeman, MT, and son Bryan T Mallin Boulder, CO; his brothers and sisters: sister Candice Mallin, and brothers Craig Mallin, Michael Mallin, and Kevin Mallin; and his mother; Marcella Mallin, all currently residing in Lancaster, PA. George T Mallin was preceded in death by his father George T Mallin Senior. An intimate memorial was held in Ocean City, NJ in mid-September. Memorial donations in loving memory of George T Mallin may kindly be made to the Humane Society of Ocean City as his connection to his dog and pal, Benny, was one close to his heart.
