Pullano, Jennifer Margaret (nee Perkins), - passed away in her home in Mays Landing, NJ, on Oct 25, 2018. Jennifer was born in Livingston, NJ on March 8, 1971 to Robert T. Perkins and Elizabeth Daum-Sadler. She proudly served her country in the 177th Fighter Wing, NJ Air National Guard for more than 20 years, and later at the Federal Aviation Administration where she was responsible for management of systems providing Air Traffic Control information critical to the safe movement of commercial and military aircraft throughout the U.S. With deep roots in her community, Jennifer's devotion to her children, Nicholas and Amelia, and to her friends and family, defined how she lived her life. Her selfless nature and giving spirit were reflected in who she was to so many: a sister and best friend; a loving daughter; a counselor and mentor; a trusted and respected colleague; a committed supporter of her children's hockey, ice skating and cheer activities; a loving partner; a champion for those in need; and a caregiver to all. Jenn enjoyed travel adventures, road trips, reading and biking, helping others, and was never afraid to pick up a paint brush or hammer as she made a beautiful home for her children. A dynamic and loving presence, her smile lit up any room she walked into. "Miss Jenn's" door was always open to the children of the neighborhood, and her most cherished moments were those she spent with her own. Jennifer is remembered and her life celebrated by her son and daughter, Nicholas and Amelia Pullano; her sister and brother-in-law, Robin Perkins and Laurent Baiettini; her father, Robert Theodore Perkins; her boyfriend, Norman Grist; her military and federal family and colleagues; and the countless friends and neighbors whose lives she touched and brightened. Services to remember Jenn and all she gave to us will be held on Thurs Nov 1 from 5-8 PM and Friday Nov 2 from 10 AM 12 Noon at Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing. Burial with military honors will follow at the Atlantic County Veteran's Cemetery in Estell Manor, NJ. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made through her sister, Robin Perkins, to the Jennifer Pullano Scholastic Fund. (Info and condolences: www.boakesfuneralhome.com)
