Ross, Christine M. (Cavanaugh), - of Smithville NJ, passed unexpectedly early Tuesday morning, May 15, 2018, at her home. Chris was an English Teacher at Absegami High School, a server at Seaview Resort in the summers, and a makeup entrepreneur. She received her BA degree in English from Georgian Court University and her Master's degree from Stockton University. She was the Founder and President of the Women of Irish Heritage South Jersey Chapter (WOIHSJ). She is predeceased by her mother, Peggy. Christine is survived by her husband, BobRoss; her sons, Kerry and Dylan; her brothers, Larry, Jimmy, Mark and Timmy; her father, Larry; and her black lab, Murphy. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 20th from 10:00am - 2:00pm, with a service immediately following at Wimberg Funeral Home, 211 E. Great Creek Rd, Galloway 609-641-0001.
