The Ocean City POPS are nothing if not versatile, with everything in its repertoire from Sinatra to Strauss to all things in between — the Pops schedule has something for everyone indeed. July 30: Julie Budd, Remembering Mr. Sinatra with the Ocean City Pops

Budd performs classic songs with the Pops as tribute to the legendary Frank Sinatra, who personally invited her to appear with him on numerous occasions at Caesars since she was 16 years old. She has also toured with the late Marvin Hamlisch. Show starts at 8 p.m.

Aug. 8: Rodgers and Hammerstein

The musical duo who gave us such classics as “Oklahoma,” “South Pacific” and “The Sound of Music,” will be honored in a Pops concert. Broadway singers and the Cape Shore Chorale will join the orchestra at the 10 p.m. show.

Aug. 8-11: ‘Mary Poppins’ presented by the City of Ocean City, Ocean City POPS, and the Ocean City Theatre Company

Everyone’s favorite nanny takes the stage in this supercalifragilisticexpialidocious musical adventure. Show times 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 8, 9 and 11 and 2 p.m. on Aug. 10. Shows take place at the Hughes Performing Arts Center (6th Street and Atlantic Avenue).

Tickets are $30 for adults, $25 for kids (12 years and under), and $25 for groups of 20 or more.

Aug. 13: Ella Fitzgerald Tribute

This theme show at 8 p.m. honors the “First Lady of Song,” with soloists Capathia Jenkins, Aisha de Haas and Harolyn Blackwell.

Tickets are $25, $35.

Aug. 20: Cirque de la Symphonie with the Ocean City Pops

This Cirque returns to the Music Pier in a new production that includes aerial flyers, acrobats, contortionist, dancers, jugglers and strongmen all performing to exhilarating orchestral classics. Show begins at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $25 and $35.

Aug. 23: Italia Dal Mare (Italy by the Ocean) with the Ocean City Pops

Celebrate the 25th anniversary season of Bel Canto Lyric Opera of Philadelphia as they return for the first time in nearly two decades under the direction of their co-artistic director, Anthony Pirollo, principal cellist of the Ocean City Pops. The evening will be dedicated to Italian favorites in both opera and song in the traditional bel canto style. Begins at 8 p.m.

Aug. 27: The Best of Broadway with the Ocean City Pops

Special guests Jim and Joan Schubin join the Pops in a special evening that features the best of Broadway from contemporary favorites to classic love songs. Starts at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $15 and $20.

Aug. 29: Free Family Chamber Music Concert with the Ocean City Pops

Meet the Pops String Quartet at a fun concert for all ages. Learn about the different string instruments in music ranging from classics to pop. Starts at 10:30 a.m.

Aug. 30: DooWop with the Duprees And the Ocean City Pops

The Duprees are known for their romantic interpretations of beautiful love songs like “You Belong to Me.” Concert begins at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $25 and $30.

Sept. 3: Our Three Tenors with the Ocean City Pops

Tenors Shawn Mathey, Cody Austin and Roy Hage will perform favorite arias and showpieces. Begins at 7:30 p.m.

Sept. 6: Ocean City Pops present a ‘Music of the Knights’

A unique musical event that honors British songwriters who have received a knighthood. Music by sirs Andrew Lloyd Webber, Elton John and Paul McCartney will be performed. 7:30 p.m. start.

Sept. 10: Broadway sensation Hugh Panaro with the Ocean City Pops

Philly’s own Hugh Panaro joins the Pops in a program of Broadway showstoppers. 7:30 p.m. start.

Sept. 13: A Night in Old Vienna with the Ocean City Pops

This September tradition is filled with Viennese favorites by the “Waltz King” Johann Strauss, Jr. Includes the singers and the musicians from the Ocean City Pops. 7:30 p.m. start
