Sports insider Dave Sholler keeps being pulled back to South Jersey

Dave Sholler has worked with some of the world’s most charismatic athletes.

Sholler, 32, rose to prominence in the sports world as the vice president of public relations, athletic marketing and development for the mixed martial arts organization Ultimate Fighting Championship.

WATCH Sholler talk about his new job with the Philadelphia 76ers.

Sholler, an Egg Harbor Township native and 2006 Stockton University graduate, left the UFC to join the Philadelphia 76ers in October, where he'll serve as vice-president of communications.

“Sports these days are personality driven. I’ve had a really unique opportunity to tell stories from a (public relations) perspective. The 76ers are like an airplane that just took off the runway. The airplane is full of guys of so many young talented guys."
