Southern Regional High School's Gavin Dougherty scored on a penalty kick in the 32nd minute to give the Rams boys soccer team a 2-1 win over visiting Brick Memorial on Monday. Dougherty scored into the left corner.

Brick's Kevin Simek made it 1-0 in the 10th minute, and Southern's Justin Schuster tied it 10 minutes later off an assist by Chris Starner. Jared Grady made four saves for the Rams.
