RB Ryquell Armstead (Millville H.S.) rushed for 210 yards and six touchdowns on 30 carries in Temple’s 59-49 win over Houston on Saturday night.
Armstead scored on runs of 5, 4, 2, 33, 4 and 6 yards. He finished one TD shy of the Temple single-game record. Montel Harris scored seven against Army in 2012.
Armstead’s performance helped the Owls improve to 6-4 (5-1 American Athletic Conference).
Freshman running back Isaih Pacheco had the highlight of the day for Rutgers.
The 2018 Vineland graduate broke loose and scored on an 80-yard run in the first half of the Scarlett Knights’ 42-7 loss to Michigan.
Pacheco finished the game with 143 yards on 16 carries, an average of 8.9 yards per carry.
DT Ray Ellis (Holy Spirit) had a tackle in Florida Atlantic’s 34-15 win over Western Kentucky.

LB Pat Ferraro (Southern) had two tackles, including one for a loss, in Sacred Heart’s 28-24 loss to Duquesne.
DB Maurice Hubbard (Absegami) had a tackle in St. Francis’ 30-14 loss to Central Connecticut State.
LB Jeff Steeb (Holy Spirit) had six tackles in Villanova’s 24-17 loss to William & Mary.

OL Jayson Williams (Cedar Creek) started at right tackle for Kutztown, which gained 372 yards of total offense in a 33-32 overtime win against Edinboro. DB Chase Stephenson (Lacey Township) had a tackle.
DB Miles Pease (St. Joseph) and DB Mark Clements (Oakcrest) had two tackles each, and Pease added a pass breakup, in New Haven’s 17-13 loss to Long Island Post.
OL Nick Lyon (Absegami) started at right tackle for Pace, which gained 305 yards of total offense in a 33-10 win over Saint Anselm.
RB Wes Hills (Wildwood) had 92 yards on 24 carries and had two receptions for 26 yards, in Slippery Rock’s 33-10 loss to West Chester in the Pennsylvania State’s Athletic Conference championship game.
DB George DiBiase (Buena Regional) had five tackles and two pass breakups in FDU-Florham’s 34-0 loss to Stevenson. LB Victor Mahar (Ocean City) had a tackle and a pass breakup.
DB DeSean Hart (Holy Spirit) had two tackles in Framingham State’s 47-6 win over Worcester.
WR Dylan Mento (Hammonton) had two receptions for 28 yards in Gallaudet’s 34-7 loss to Maritime (New York).
DT Donovan Bennett (Vineland) had two tackles in Gettysburg’s 34-10 loss to Franklin & Marshall.

DL Sunny Tapp (St. Joseph) added a tackle, and P Christian Ireland (EHT) averaged 43.3 yards on six punts, including one inside the 20-yard line.
For Kean, LB Dietrich Trumbauer (EHT) had three tackles, while LB Matt Milden (Lacey) added two.
DB Brennan Ray (Lower Cape May Regional) had five tackles, including one for a loss, in Montclair State’s 24-0 win over William Paterson.
He also returned a fumble 63 yards for a touchdown.
QB Andrew Donoghue (Ocean City) completed 6 of 9 passes for 44 yards with a touchdown and an interception in The College of New Jersey’s 33-30 win over Southern Virginia.
He also rushed for 21 yards on three carries.
DE Nazir Williams (Bridgeton) had 10 tackles in Wesley’s 16-14 loss to Christopher Newport.
LB Dante Daniel (Holy Spirit) had nine tackles, and DB Cappadonna Miller (Bridgeton) added six tackles.
