Jared Lewis earned the New Jersey Athletic Conference Men’s Field Athlete of the Week award after a strong season-opening performance at the Franklin & Marshall Diplomat Open on Saturday.

The Stockton University senior won the triple jump (14.57 meters) and the long jump (7.08m). He ran the 60-meter dash for only the second time in his career, placing fifth among 76 runners in 7.11 seconds.

Lewis was the NCAA Division III indoor triple jump champion last season.

Lewis is the most decorated athlete in program history, capturing seven All-American honors in track and field.

The Ospreys will compete in the Fast Times Before Finals meet at Lehigh University on Friday and Saturday.
