The Stockton University women’s lacrosse suffered its first loss of the season Wednesday in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

The Ospreys lost 10-5 to Framingham State, dropping to 3-1.

Danielle Graham and Melanie Patterson scored two goals apiece for the Ospreys. Gaby Ojeda scored the other, and Abbey Yannacone (Southern) added two assists.

The Ospreys (3-1) will play at 4 p.m. Saturday at Drew University.

Stockton women’s tennis: The Ospreys lost 8-1 to Webster in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

Taylor Searles was the lone winner for Stockton, taking a 6-3, 6-3 match in sixth singles.

Stockton (9-5) will play at noon Wednesday against Gettysburg.

Stockton softball: The Ospreys lost the first game of a doubleheader with Rensselear Polytechnic Institute 3-2 in Clermont, Florida.

Carli Shaw and Casey Schieda went 2 for 3 for the Ospreys. Alexandra Cosenzo hit a solo homer. Ashley Lobell added an RBI single.

Marissa Semerara pitched a complete-game loss, allowing three runs, one earned, on five hits and a walk with five strikeouts.

Stockton (5-2) played Suffolk later Wednesday in a game that ended too late for this edition.

Cumberland County Baseball: The Dukes’ home doubleheader with Delaware County Community College postponed due to snow.

The Dukes (12-3) learned Tuesday they are ranked No. 1 in the National Junior College Athletic Association poll.

They will play at 3 p.m. Friday against Ocean County College.
