Kevin Antczak of Mainland Regional High School turned in a standout performance at the state group cross country championships Saturday afternoon.

Antczak finished 12th in the state Group III race, finishing the 3.1-mile course at Holmdel Park in Monmouth County in 16 minutes, 48 seconds. Jack Stanley of Mendham won in 15:45.

In the girls races, Alexa Palmieri of Ocean City finished 12th in Group III, finishing in 20:01.

Alexa Westley of Warren Hlls won in 18:09.

Olivia Shafer of Egg Harbor Township ran 20:00 to fnish 20th in Group IV.

Abby Loveys of Randolph won in 17:52.

Paige Sofield of Holy Spirit finished 10th in Non-Public B in 20:53. Sarah Hanifin of Villa Walsh Academy won in 19:27.
