Today we kick off our Greatest High School Teams Since 2000 Tournament. In our First Four matchup : Cedar Creek football 2015 vs. Sacred Heart girls basketball 2003 and Cedar Creek girls basketball 2012 vs. Mainland Regional football 2002. Voting for these two matchups will end Monday at the close of day. The winners of the two games will move into our main tournament which will start on Thursday.

Cedar Creek girls basketball 2012
Kristine Miller led the Pirates to the 2012 state Group I basketball championship. She finished her career 1,696 career points and 940 career rebounds.
Sacred Heart girls basketball 2003
The Lions won the state Non-Public B title. Point guard Adrienne Rochetti and forward Ikea Witt led Sacred Heart. Sacred Heart beat Northern Burlington in the TOC quarterfinals, but lost to Marlboro in overtime in the semifinals. Witt finished with 1,677 career points. Rochetti scored 1,913 career points.
Mainland Regional football 2002
The Mustangs finished 11-1 and won the South Jersey Group III championship. Mainland opened the season with a win over Penn Charter, which was quarterbacked by current Atlanta Falcon Matt Ryan. The only loss was by a point to Wayne Hills, which featured current NFL standout tight end Greg Olsen. Dan Cappelluti, Mike Bradway and John Rochford led the Mustangs.
Cedar Creek football 2015
The Pirates finished 10-2 and won the South Jersey Group II title with a 28-27 win over West Deptford. Bo Melton, then a junior, sparked Cedar Creek on offense and defense. That season he scored 24 touchdowns, ran 105 times for 748 yards and caught 41 passes for 913 yards.
