The senior has rushed for more averages nearly five yards a carry for the Thunderbolts.

Tex Thompson’s 6-yard touchdown run opened the scoring for the Millville High School football team en route to a 40-12 win over Bridgeton in a West Jersey Football League interdivision matchup between Cumberland County schools.

It was the fourth straight win for the Thunderbolts, who improved to 4-3 following an 0-3 start to their season.

Solomon Deshields returned a blocked punt for 42 yards in the first. Cartier Gray caught two touchdown passes from Eddie Jamison of 37 and 28 yards respectively.

Taz’Mire Burton ran in a 13-yard touchdown for the Bulldogs (1-5) in the second quarter.
