Colleen Slaughter scored on a penalty stroke with 8 minutes, 25 seconds left in overtime Sunday to give Ocean City High School a 2-1 victory over Warren Hills in the state Group III field hockey championship in Toms River.

The Red Raiders (22-1), who are ranked No. 3 in The Press' Elite 11, won their seventh state title and first since 2005.

Warren Hills, in Warren County, finished 21-3-1.
