The Holy Spirit High School girls varsity four crew won the women’s high school/junior four head race at the Navy Day Regatta on Saturday on the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia.

The Spirit crew beat 34 other boats. High school crews and rowing clubs competed.

The Spartans’ crew of stroke Haley Bramante, Claira Fucetola, Diana Dumadag, bow Mollie Knoff and coxswain Megan Shober took the 4,000-meter head race in 15 minutes, 51.24 seconds. Merion Mercy Academy was second in 16:00.87.
