The host Egg Harbor Township High School girls tennis team defeated Vineland 3-2 in a Cape-Atlantic League match Friday.

The Eagles (6-2) took first singles with Emily Manzo and second singles with Samantha Phung, both winning 6-0, 6-0. Gabrielle Guimapang and Angelina Lee also won first doubles for EHT.

Vineland’s Tabitha Gentiletti fought a hard battle in third singles to edge Ema Cadacio 6-1, 6-7 (5-7), 10-8, and Julia Holmes and Reem Alkheel won second doubles for the Fighting Clan.
