Middle Township High School’s Cattie Knoll and Abigail Smith defeated Ambika Vig and Marlea Shannon 7-6 (10-8), 3-6, 6-4 in the second doubles to help the Panthers win 3-2 against Holy Spirit in a Cape-Atlantic League girls tennis match Thursday.

Maddie Deane won 6-2, 6-2, over Katie Deritis for the Panthers’ (11-8) only singles win. Samantha Braun and Sofia Lomax beat Chloe Astin and Emily Grishem 6-3, 6-0.

Morgan Grimme won in first singles for Holy Spirit (11-8) 6-0, 6-1, against Lauren Ryan. Sophia Pasquale beat Olivia Banach 6-3, 6-3.

Kaylin Flukey had five kills, four digs and three aces for the Braves. Jackie Fortis added six kills and Brianna Camp put up four aces with four digs.

Cadence Fitzgerald had four kills for the Mustangs (6-7), while Bella Canesi put up two aces and three kills.

Nicole Mountain had six service points, one ace and one kill, and Franky Pilli had two digs.

Seneca (11-9) defeated Cedar Creek 26-24, 18-25, 26-24.

Alex Zaremba had 27 assists, five kills and one block for the Pirates (11-7). Riley Lower and Amanda Purdy had five kills apiece. Hailey Cornell provided three kills, three aces and four digs.

Jose Contreras and Paul Ford scored one goal each off penalty kicks for the Braves (5-7-1) to put them up 2-0 early in the second half. Christopher Arbieto made five saves.

Ryan Duchat scored both goals for Atlantic City (5-6-4) to tie the game, assisted by goalie Jonathan Murillo on one. Murillo also made five saves.
