St. Augustine Prep junior Sincere Rhea took home four gold medals Saturday at the South Jersey Track Coaches Association Tournament at Rancocas Valley.
Oakcrest won the team scoring with 100 points, beating out Willingboro (76), Winslow Township (65) and St. Augustine (63).
The Hermits’ quartet of Rhea, Will Gould, Patrick Smith and Nkem Ota won three races in the large school division.
They opened with a victory in the sprint medley relay open in 1 minute, 34.13 seconds. The same quartet also won the 4x100 relay (43.47) and the 4x200 (1:30.57).
Rhea also ran on the winning 4x110 hurdle relay team (1:03.65) along with Joseph Bartolozzi, Jacob Cobb and Justin Shorter.
Oakcrest’s distance medley relay, consisting of Michael Rhodes, Tyler Barnes, Leonard Bustos and Mike Liberty, took first (11:32.14) in the small school division. Oakcrest also won the 4x200 relay (1:32.56) with Elijah Shanks, Marques Miller, Harrison Doe and Imaad Andrews.
Shawn Bumpass won the shot put for Oakcrest (45-07). Steffron Watson won the triple jump (42-11.75) and Miller won the long jump (21-08).
Otis Harold of Vineland won the large school 400 open in 58.66 seconds.
Several area girls programs competed at the Rowan Open on Friday at Rowan University.
Egg Harbor Township freshman Lauren Princz won the 100-meter dash in 12.28 seconds. She also won the 200 (25.04).
Atlantic City’s Claudine Smith won the triple jump (40 feet, 11/2 inches). Teammate Shakiyah Hassan took first in the open division of the discus throw (95-00)
Absegami’s Kylee Alvarez won the open division in the javelin (91-01) and Vineland’s Maya Terry won the emerging division in javelin (103-05).
