Jada Byers, St. Joseph's
The junior running back ran eight times for 146 yards and six touchdowns to lead the Wildcats to a 56-6 win over Immaculate Conception in the state Non-Public II quarterfinals. Byers has rushed for 1,510 yards and scored 29 touchdowns and 190 points this season. St. Joseph (8-2) hosts Immaculata (5-4) 1 p.m. Saturday in a semifinal.
Mohamed Toure, Pleasantville
The senior running back carried 14 times for 224 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Greyhounds to a 57-0 win over Cedar Creek in a South Jersey Group II quarterfinal. Pleasantville (7-2) plays at Haddonfield (9-0) on Friday at 7 p.m. in a semifinal.
Shamore Collins, Millville
The linebacker had three sacks and two tackles for losses to help Millville beat Winslow Township 44-28 in a South jersey Group IV quarterfinal. The Thunderbolts (6-3) hots Shawnee (3-6) in a semifinal 6 p.m. Friday.
Ahmad Brown, Holy Spirit
Brown carried 13 times for 103 yards and two touchdowns as Holy Spirit beat Morris Catholic 61-8 in a state Non-Public II quarterfinal. Brown also returned an interception for a touchdown. Holy Spirit (6-3) hosts Hudson Catholic (6-4) in a state Non-Public II semifinal 6 p.m. Friday.
