The St. Augustine Prep wrestling team advanced to the semifinals of the Virginia Duals at the Hampton Coliseum on Friday.

St. Augustine (5-1), one of 16 teams in the tournament's National Division, beat St. John's (Washington D.C.) 54-15 and Independence (West Virginia) 36-24.

Connor Kraus (113 pounds) picked up two pins for the Hermits. Reid White (132), Dillon Taylor (145) and Nick Clark (170) each had two victories.

The Hermits will wrestle Nazareth (Pennsylvania), ranked 30th in the country by intermatwrestle.com, today.
