Thursday: Went 0 for 4 but got an outfield assist during a 5-2 loss to the Astros. He batted second and played center field. The outfield assist came in the eighth inning when Marwin Gonzalez tried to strech a double into a triple. It was Trout's fourth assist of the season.
Friday: Trout went 1 for 4 with a run scored and a strikeout in the Angels' 7-6 win over Texas. He also stole his 21st base of the season.
Saturday: The series will continue with a 9:07 p.m. game. Left-hander Cole Hamel is the Rangers' scheduled starter. Trout is hitting .235 (4 for 17) with two RBIs against him.
