Cape Express

The Cape Express U-17 team will compete for the national championship this weekend in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The Cape Express Soccer Club U17 team is one win away from earning at spot in the championship game at the National Presidents Cup presented by U.S. Youth Soccer.

Cape Express defeated Ohio 1-0 on Friday morning.

The game started on Thursday but had to be suspended with 3 minutes left due to lightning.

In their regularly scheduled Friday game, Cape Express lost to Utah 2-0.

With the win, Utah clinched a spot in the final on Sunday.

Cape Express can secure a rematch in the final with a win over Florida (0-1-1) today. They could also advance with a tie if Utah either wins or ties Ohio today.
